Product Details: All are Good Food Award Winners
At the heart of the Cúrate Charcuterie Tasting Experience, you'll find:
• Cúrate Sobrasada - “Spreadable Chorizo”
2023 Good Food Award Winner
Often described as Chorizo butter, this peppery Mallorcan delicacy has a tangy acidity resulting from fermentation.
• Cúrate Salchichón - Spanish Recipe Salami
2024 Good Food Award Winner
A sophisticated staple of Catalonian cuisine. Subtle and mild with hints of black pepper and nutmeg. An example of the care we put into every product.
• Cúrate Chorizo - Iconically Smoky
2024 Good Food Award Winner
Pimentón de la Vera and garlic marry with white wine to add a spark of acidity to our take on this iconic Spanish delicacy. They are aged with a bit of patience and lots of love.
• Dequmana Natural Olive Mix with Fine Herbs
A perfect combination of hojiblanca, gordal, cuquillo, and arbequina olives, Mediterranean herbs, and natural red pepper made according to a traditional recipe used in Andalucian homes each year upon the arrival of the harvest
• Mitica Marcona Almonds with Skins
Premium Spanish Almonds are known for their buttery texture, delicate flavor, and delightful crunch. Each almond is carefully selected and fried in small batches in olive oil, bringing out their natural nuttiness and enhancing their distinct character.
• Accidental Baker Artisan Sea Salt Crackers
2020 Good Food Award Winner
North Carolina’s Accidental Baker crafts baked goods guided by traditional dough-aging techniques. Each crispy bite contains complex flavors. We adore these not only for their deliciousness but also for the way they enhance the aesthetics of a charcuterie board.
• The Cúrate Signature 3-Legged Pig Toothpick Holder
Complete your "pica-pica" Charcuterie Tasting Experience with our unique toothpick holder, handcrafted by Crazy Green Studios in Asheville's River Arts District, which recently experienced significant devastation due to Hurricane Helene. We are proud to support Crazy Green Studios in their process of rebuilding.
Care Instructions - A Note from the Butcher
• Store the charcuterie in a releasable bag in your refrigerator, but pull it out at least 30 minutes before you enjoy it so it can come to room temperature and be extra delicious.
• Slice chorizo and salchichón on a diagonal, ⅛-inch thick, to showcase texture and impress your friends!
• The presence of mold is regular in cured sausages, much like aged cheese. No wonder they go together so well!
• Remove the casing before eating, but only from the bit you plan on eating! Keeping the charcuterie wrapped keeps it fresh. It's even better to cover the charcuterie's cut side with the wrapping you cut off.
