General

When will my order ship?

The Cúrate at Home team ships packages five days a week, Monday through Friday. Orders containing food or wine ship Monday – Wednesday to so that it is not in transit over the weekend. 

In general, please allow 1-3 business days for order processing, and note that delivery times are not guaranteed by carriers. If you are ordering for a special occasion or date, we recommend including that information in your order notes, and allowing an extra day or two in case of carrier delays.

What is the return policy?

Cúrate was born out of a dream to create exceptional and experiential access to Spanish culture. If your experience with products from Cúrate at Home isn't exceptional, we want to hear about it! While we aren't able to offer returns or exchanges on perishable products, we will work with you to find a resolution. Feedback is always welcome!

Wine Club FAQ

Can you ship wine to my state? 

We are legally only able to ship wine within North Carolina, and to the following states: Connecticut, Florida, Louisiana, Nebraska, Nevada, North Dakota, Oregon, Washington DC, West Virginia, and Wyoming.

When does wine ship? 

Monthly shipments from Cúrate Wine Club are sent between the 1st and 5th of each month, while ad hoc orders are shipped within 1-2 business days. You’ll receive an e-mail notification when your order ships, including tracking information. All shipments are sent via UPS Ground.

How does shipping work?

If you choose to have your wine shipped directly to your door, we pass through our discounted shipping rates directly from UPS. All shipments will be sent via UPS Ground, and must be signed for on delivery. All non-club orders will be shipped within 1-2 business days, and an email will be sent to you with tracking information.

Do I have to be present when wine arrives? 

Yes, an adult signature is required for delivery. You may care to use a business address if you do not anticipate being present to receive wine at home. Either way, we strongly recommend registering for UPS My Choice, which will allow you to better anticipate and reschedule deliveries.

What happens if I miss the delivery?

Generally, the carrier will try to deliver the package up to 3 times. If they are unable to obtain a signature in that timeframe, the package will return to us. Look for an email from us asking how you would like to proceed. You'll have the option to pick up at La Bodega by Cúrate if you are local, or have us re-ship the package for a handling fee of $10 + the cost of shipping.

How does pickup of wine club orders work?

If you opt for pick up, you may pick up your wine at La Bodega by Cúrate during regular business hours. Please wait until you receive an email notification that your wine is ready, typically between the 1st and 5th of the month. If wine has not been picked up by the 21st of the month, we will automatically ship it to you, including a handling fee of $10 + the cost of shipping.

How do I change my club shipping preference?

You may change your shipping address and preference (ship or pick up) by using the customer portal. Please update your info or inform us at least seven days prior to the first of the month if you need to make changes to the upcoming month’s shipment.

Can I gift the Cúrate Wine Club?

The best way to send the wine club as a gift is to purchase a gift card here, and let the gift recipient register for the club! This way, your gift recipient will receive all the communication, invitations and benefits that go along with being a member! 

How frequently will I be billed and for how much?

The Cúrate Spanish Wine Club consists of one 3-bottle shipment per month. You will be billed between $98 plus tax and shipping (if applicable) each month. NC memberships are subject to local sales tax. Pickup at La Bodega by Cúrate is free.

Is my wine club membership transferable?

Your Cúrate Wine Club membership belongs to you exclusively and cannot be transferred to another party. You are able to gift a wine club membership by entering the recipients name and shipping information.

I would like to make a reservation at Cúrate or La Bodega, how do I use the reservation benefit?

To use a table that we hold for wine club members at either of our restaurants, simply log into Resy with the same email address that you use for the wine club subscription. Tables that are not available to general guests will appear for club members. These reservations are available beginning 60 days in advance of the desired date, and cycle into normal reservations 48 hours before desired date and time. If you don't see availability, please email us at reservations@kbr.email, noting that you are a wine club member, and we will be happy to assist. 

Can I use my discount to purchase additional bottles of wine?

Yes, you can enjoy your wine club discount (10% off retail wine purchases) La Bodega by Cúrate. This discount does not apply to dine-in services from Cúrate Bar de Tapas.

How do I cancel my membership?

By joining you commit to receiving a minimum of two wine club shipments. You may cancel your membership at any time after receiving these two shipments by sending an email to wineclub@curateathome.com. Please notify us a minimum of 7 days before the next shipment to avoid being charged.
