Olivar Cúrate Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Pairs well with
Imagine a village reborn—a place where every olive tree tells a story of resilience, community, and revival. In Oliete, a breathtaking village on a sun-drenched hill, abandoned olive trees are being lovingly restored to their former glory.
When we first opened Curate we made a vow to select our suppliers based on quality and sustainability. This project lands squarely in the middle of both of those values. When there are so many products to be purchased, so many olive oil choices on the shelf, it takes looking a level deeper to really be able to choose with our hearts.
Through the Adopt an Olive Tree program, the Apadrina un Olivo project has sparked a renaissance: nurturing ancient trees, creating jobs, and rekindling the spirit of a community that once faced the risk of becoming a ghost town due to depopulation. Every bottle of our artisan olive oil is a testament to that transformation—a beautiful reminder that when you care for a single tree, you help breathe life back into an entire village.

Tasting Notes
From the very first drop, you'll experience the magic of Oliete. Our olive oil, cold-pressed from Empeltre and Arbequina olives, dances on your palate with a delightful balance of fresh, fruity notes, a whisper of green grass and tomato, and the soft warmth of fennel. There’s a subtle spiciness and a touch of nutty sweetness—truly liquid gold that sings with the pure, vibrant flavors of tradition and nature.
Ingredients
Crafted from olives nurtured under the dry, aromatic Mediterranean air, our oil is made exclusively from carefully tended Empeltre and Arbequina varieties. These olives, grown without chemicals for over 30 years, are a living legacy of the region’s rich heritage. They’re lovingly harvested and cold-extracted within hours to capture their full, original flavor—a perfect blend of history and nature in every drop.

About the Artist
The artwork that adorns each bottle’s packaging is designed by visual artist Juan Diaz Faes, in collaboration with Apadrina un Olivo. The design is a reflection of the artist’s distinctive and iconic style.
Born in Oviedo (Spain), Juan Díaz-Faes grew up drawing before studying Fine Arts at the University of Salamanca and subsequently developing his career in graphic design, illustration, and muralism. Since 2017, cities such as Paris, Miami, Austin, Guangzhou (China), Punta del Este, Hamburg, Seoul, Madrid, and Santander have featured large-scale murals by this artist.
The stories behind Díaz-Faes' bustling patterns are born in Le Cluf, the artist's studio and creative space located in Castanedo, a small town in the province of Cantabria (Spain). Le Cluf is part of the projects to support creation promoted by the SOLO Collection.
